The stage is now set for the launch of download services by Sony. Sony is planning to offer downloads of HD movies, video games, movie trailers and demos.
The recent launch of a new model of Sony ps3 with an 80GB hard drive puts Sony in a very strong position to launch these download services. Bigger hard drives in ps3 means larger storage space for movies and games.
Sony ps3 presently has a 20GB and a 60GB hard drive versions. This latest model of the Sony ps3 will not be available in the US and Canada until August.
